Scholarship

The Kate Alison Bronstein Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2007 by David and Patricia Bronstein of Houston, Texas in loving memory of their daughter, Kate Alison Bronstein. Kate Bronstein was a 19-year-old sophomore at Baylor University when she died on November 14, 2007. She was double majoring in art history and international studies and was a member of Kappa Delta sorority, where she served as the special events coordinator. Kate had a loving heart and cared deeply for her friends and family. She was a strong-willed and focused individual who knew what she wanted in life and pursued it with passion. Fellow students described Kate as ambitious, dedicated, joyful, and a friend who was always there for others. She will be dearly missed by her parents, sister, and all who knew her. This endowed scholarship fund provides assistance to deserving students who are majoring in art history or art and participating in a Baylor study abroad program.
